IS IT A CURSE TO NOT TO BE BLESSED?

IS IT A CURSE TO NOT TO BE BLESSED?

Literature is replete with insinuations that blessings and cursing are word and opposite.

In my little imagination, I want to critically but succinctly examine this with one biblical scenario and differ mildly.

If blessing is pronounced for an act,
does refusal to carry out the act incur curse automatically?

Let’s examine this verse below:

As it is written in the law of the Lord,
Every male that openeth the womb
shall be called holy to the Lord (Luke 2:23, KJV)

Can I pose a question?

Does this verse have a reverse implication for females that open the womb?

I don’t actually suppose that those two terms are word and opposite.

You could consider it too…

TRIVIALIZING ISSUES

TRIVIALIZING ISSUES
Some days ago after the gross situation that took place in #BUI, the Vice-Chancellor addressed the University community charging us not to trivialize the circumstances, the rumors, and the outcome.
Some weeks later I was in Ibadan for the Easter break for some rest and I was home alone. One evening I heard knocks at the door and I was dumbfounded, as I didn’t know how to respond to the person at the door.
For some time I have been living alone having no visitors, not having need to respond to calls or knocks at my door. So as the knocks intensified, I just rushed to answer the door by opening without considering the security challenge or anything.
The main point in this post is to emphasize how I trivialized methods of answering the door.
So, my suggestion, we should not trivialize issues that make us who we are…

WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

I am who I want to be rather who I am…Oladele Femi

A popular song inspires us to know who we are and I sat to evaluate who I am and found that I’d rather be who I want to be than who I am.

This might sound strange though, but a realization that who you want to be is the better way out than who you think you are now gives more relaxation to the mind I guess.

TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR COUNTRY: NIGERIA

TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR COUNTRY: NIGERIA
With exactness of feeling of responsibility; an exception to progressive movements…Oladele Femi

With the adoption and implementation of time proven ideas and strategies, we could expect best outcomes, most times, the realities of life make an efficient and effective system to falter. In the face of trying to explain the intermittent occurrences of our social and economic related phenomena in the spate of our economic irony (this explains the significant effect of the rebasing consequences and unrealistic realities) subject to the military harassment in most especially our Northern Nigeria…
…some still sit to cry foul…
…we stand to sing victory all the way, because we know that we shall not be divided despite calls to crack us down…
No matter the place, quarters, high or low, no matter the strangest approach, policy, or strategy, it shall not stand to make Nigeria not to stand.
We Are Pressing On…
Now I have a bright hope for tomorrow:
Nigeria is great and powerful and wonderful; a place of rest, where people will find solace.

Confidence is required for advancement;
Advancement is a measure of dedication;
Dedication preserves strength;
Strength ignites passion…
It is from the relegated position of failure that most people discover the value of life and of living…Oladele Femi
